Enough companies already have your data. We genuinely don't want yours.

That isn't a slogan. It's how Morphjet is built. Your files are converted entirely on your own computer, so there's nothing for us to see, store, or lose. This page is the complete, plain-English account of the little we do collect (mostly an email address, and only if you hand us one), what we do with it, who ever touches it, and how to make us forget it.

The short version

Your files

Morphjet converts files (images, PDFs, video, audio, and the rest) entirely on your own device. The files you convert are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is nothing for us to store, read, or leak, because they never leave your computer in the first place. This is the heart of the product, not a setting you have to go and switch on.

The launch waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the date you signed up, and a short label for which form you used (so we know the signup came from our own site). We use it for exactly one thing: to email you when Morphjet launches, along with your founding discount code. We don't add you to any other list, and we don't email you about anything else.

To keep out bots and spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, and we store a one-way hashed version of your IP address, never the raw address, purely to rate-limit abuse. It can't be turned back into your IP or tied to your email for anything else.

The contact form

When you use our contact form, we receive the name and email you enter, the topic you pick, and your message. We keep it only so we can read it, reply, and remember the conversation if you write again. We use your email to respond and for nothing else. As with the waitlist, a hashed IP is stored briefly to prevent abuse.

The app itself

Usage analytics and crash reports in the app are off by default. If you choose to turn them on later, that choice is opt-in, clearly labelled, and never includes the contents of your files. The app does reach the network for two narrow things: checking your licence, and downloading what a given format needs the first time you use it. Neither one ever sends your files anywhere.

This website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and runs no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. Any analytics we use are cookieless and aggregate, so they can't follow you around the web. Standard server logs (things like IP address and request time) may be kept briefly by our host for security and to keep the service running. We don't set marketing cookies.

Who else ever touches your information

We keep the list of companies involved deliberately short, and each one is a service provider acting on our instructions, never a buyer of your data:

If that list ever changes in a way that matters to you, we'll update this page. We do not sell or share your personal information for anyone else's advertising.

How long we keep things

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and we'll do it. Depending on where you are (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may also have the right to a copy of your data in a portable form, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent at any time. For the waitlist, our basis is simply your consent, which you can take back whenever you like.

To do any of this, just get in touch. No special form, no hoops. We'll never charge you for it or make it difficult. And to be clear about one thing in particular: we do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Children

Morphjet isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete it.

Security and where data lives

Everything you send this site travels over an encrypted connection, and we hold as little as possible, because the best protection for your data is simply not having it. Since our host runs globally, the small amount we do keep may be processed in other countries, and where that happens it's done under the safeguards those laws require.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we'll update the date at the top of the page, and for anything significant we'll make the change easy to notice rather than burying it. Carrying on using the site after an update means the current version applies.
